Welcome!

Welcome to Souled Out Grub, where we celebrate the art of cooking with a flavorful twist! As a young adult, Chef Dawn’s passion for food blossomed in a vibrant kitchen, that was deeply rooted in her African American and Jamaican heritage. Here is where those family recipes and culinary traditions intertwine, creating a fusion of soulful flavors that tell a story with every bite.

At Souled Out Grub, we believe food is more than just nourishment—it’s a way to connect, celebrate, and express love. Inspired by the rich traditions of Carribean-Soul food, every dish is crafted with passion, authenticity, and care. Whether you’re enjoying our crispy, flavorful fried chicken, slow-cooked collard greens, or the sweetest candied sweet potatoes in town, you’ll feel like you’re eating from your grandma’s table with every bite.

Our goal is to create a culinary experience! Whether you’re a foodie or simply looking for nourishing comfort, you’ll find something special here. With every plate served, we pour our heart into bringing you not just food, but an experience filled with warmth and joy.

Thank you for allowing us to share our passion for cooking with you. Together, let’s explore the flavors of Chef Dawn’s heritage and enjoy the delightful fusion of soul and Caribbean cuisine!

Our Story

Soul food is a celebration of history and culture, and at Souled Out Grub, we’re proud to keep that legacy alive. Our family traditions and recipes have been passed down through generations, rooted in love, and perfected over time. From our kitchen to your table, we bring the heart and soul of Carribean-Soul infused comfort food. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a spiritual experience.

Our founder, Dawn Patterson, grew up in a home where the foods, flavors, and culture of African-American heritage were infused with Carribean-Soul to create amazing dishes rich in authentic flavor and character.

Drawing from recipes passed down through generations, Souled Out Grub was born out of a passion for sharing those beloved family flavors with the community. We’re proud to continue this legacy, bringing you dishes that are as comforting as a Sunday dinner at Grandma’s house.
